Seize the chance to declutter your space, reclaim your garage, and dispose of unwanted items at no cost! These organized events are strategically planned to include locations within or near your neighborhood association.

The 2023 Annual National Night Out events across Roseville neighborhoods on August 1, 2023, united neighborhoods and residents. Representatives from various Roseville departments including Police, Fire, City Manager's Office, and City Council joined the community for a night of fun. This collective effort highlighted a shared commitment to safety and community well-being. Neighbors enjoyed engaging events such as BBQs and ice cream parties, reinforcing connections and fostering unity. This collaboration showcased the strength of community spirit, highlighting the harmony that defines Roseville's neighborhoods. The 2024 National Night events will be held on Tuesday, August 6th .

The Roseville Grants Commission made a significant contribution towards community development by awarding RCONA a generous grant of over $7,000. This funding will be directed towards the much-needed installation of a sidewalk within the Historic Sierra Vista Neighborhood Association (HSVNA), a project that holds great significance for both residents and visitors. The grant underscores the commitment of the Roseville Grants Commission to enhancing the quality of life for local residents by providing essential infrastructure that promotes accessibility, safety, and community cohesion. The HSVNA expressed its gratitude to the Roseville Grants Commission for their support in realizing this vital neighborhood improvement initiative.

Several neighborhood associations annually host pancake breakfasts for their residents. Maidu Neighborhood Association held their Father’s Day event in June and he HSVNA conducted theirs to kick off the school year. Local businesses, such as Fourscore Coffee, Safeway, Grocery Outlet, and Roseville Meat Market, teamed up with local volunteers to make these breakfasts successful. The breakfasts not only offer a delicious meal but also highlight a commitment to creating meaningful experiences that enhance the neighborhood's sense of togetherness.

This highly anticipated annual event, the Neighborhood Cleanup Days, brings a positive change to Roseville. This comprehensive initiative serves as a catalyst for residents to rejuvenate their homes and neighborhoods by responsibly disposing of unwanted items. As neighbors come together to declutter and tidy up, the event encourages a shared commitment to maintaining the beauty of the city. The 2023 event achieved remarkable milestones by having over 1,300 residents drop off items and collecting 123 tons of trash. The 2024 event will be held from 8:00 to 2:00pm on:

• April 6 at Saugstad Park, 100 Buljan Drive

• April 20 at Bridgeway Church, 8150 Industrial Avenue

• May 4 at St. John’s Church, 2351 Pleasant Grove Blvd

• May 18 at Bridgeway Church, 8150 Industrial Avenue

Many of Roseville’s neighborhood Associations conducted holiday home decorating contests. Our city was looking very spirited with all of the beautiful lights and decorations. Keep checking your neighborhood association’s website to enter the 2024 contests.

Placer County Supervisor Shanti Landon announced the selection of Charles Aquino as the County’s District Two Citizen of the Year for going “above and beyond, demonstrating servant leadership and community service”. Landon noted “Charles’ dedication and heart for his community as the President of the Solaire Neighborhood Association in West Roseville. Charles has put in great efforts to get the neighborhood association up and running and is regularly answering resident questions and concerns that come in. He embodies the spirit of public service and I admire that so much about him!” Congratulations, Charles.
